Data Services

If the unthinkable were to happen, an insurance company can replace your computer but what they can’t replace is all of your personal data, your music files, your digital images and all of important personal documents that you routinely store and use on your computer.

If you are running a business you could lose project details and invoices, customer contact details and other documents essential to the success of your day to day operations.

We can provide services that will make sure that your always have a backup of your data and that your files are kept secure.

Data Backup

We can implement backup services in your home or business to ensure that if you are unfortunate enough to lose your data, you can simply retrieve the lost item from your backup storage. You can then carry on working unaffected. If you’re a home user then you can rest assured that your data, photos, music and videos are all safe.

This can be an automated process or carried out manually periodically.

Data Transfer

If you have just bought a new computer to replace your old one, you will probably want to be able to access all of your files from your old computer. That’s where our data-transfer service can help. We will copy all of your files from your old computer (even the hidden ones that many users don’t even know how to find) and we’ll make them available on your new computer – in the way that suits you best.

We’ll only transfer the data you want to keep and we’ll put it where you want it.

Data Recovery

If you’ve been unfortunate enough to experience a hard disk drive failure then we might be able to recover your data for you. We can transfer any salvaged files onto a new hard drive or burn it to a CD or DVD.

We can also help you to retrieve accidentally deleted pictures from storage media such as SD or XD cards and even USB ‘pen-drives’.

If we are unable to recover your data we can provide you with a quote before sending your storage media away to a specialist in data-recovery – if they can’t restore your lost files, nobody can!

Secure Hard Drive Erasure.

Simple deleting a file and then removing it from your ‘recycle-bin’, does not mean your file has been completely deleted. Data that you thought was safely gone could easily be recovered from a hard-drive you throw away or sell-on to someone else. Don’t risk your valuable data falling into the wrong hands. We can securely erase your entire hard-drive or specific areas of it to keep your data safe.

For absolute security, we can even securely destroy the physical drive itself.
